Questionnaire CliSAP Re-Analysis Data

The Integrated Climate Data Center (ICDC) has the mandate to provide easy-to-use, easy-to-access climate relevant Earth observation data. One component of such data is given by data from re-analysis projects such as NCEP/NCAR or ERA-Interim.

The ICDC Team aims at establishing an improved service on this data sector – if required. In order to evaluate the needs for re-analysis data within CliSAP and in order to optimize our service we have developed the following questionnaire.

We got 28 responses, 27 of it use re-analysis data. From all these responses a summary has been produced. Numbers in parentheses indicate the number of times it was mentioned in the answers. If various aspects were mentioned in an answer, all have been included in the analysis, therefore, the sum can be larger than 28.
